Free Your Shoulders

Saturday August 25, 2-4 pm, $35 with Carol Mason, ERYT

Learn how to prevent and heal shoulder injuries.

A regular, targeted asana practice can help to maintain healthy shoulders by bringing awareness to your alignment, strengthening the muscles of the shoulders and opening the chest with your breath. We will examine how to free the shoulder blades for fluidity of movement, how to protect and heal the rotator cuff and how to strengthen the muscles of the shoulder girdle to support ourselves in weight bearing postures. The shoulders are the conduit to the creative and or destructive power of our arms and hands and therefore a reflection of consciousness. Bring that creative power to your practice. All levels.
